For many patients, maintaining normal work and family schedules is of paramount importance. Our flexible scheduling philosophy will ensure that you are able to continue to live your life while getting treatment. Located in the heart of the St. Louis metro area, we aim to make your access to recovery as simple and easy as possible.

MHCSTL practice methods

We aim to have the highest quality office-based treatment program in St. Louis for medication assisted treatment of opiate addiction. The cornerstone of our practice is the use of buprenorphine (Suboxone, Subutex, Zubsolv, and similar medications) in an outpatient, office based setting. We also partner with other mental health professionals to provide a comprehensive recovery plan. While the majority of patients will benefit immensely from additional counseling, we will work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your needs, fits your lifestyle, and your schedule.

About buprenorphine

Buprenorphine is used in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help people quit their use of heroin or other opiates, such as pain relievers like oxycodone or morphine. Suboxone treatment has been shown to be safe and effective for opioid use disorders, decreasing cravings, and decreasing the potential for relapse. Unlike methdone treatment, which must be performed in a highly structured clinic, buprenorphine is the first medication to treat opioid dependency that is permitteed to be prescribed or dispensed in physician offices.

Whether you have had problems with opiate or prescription pill killers, use of heroin, or any other type of opiate abuse, we are here to help you get your life back on track!!
